Dakota Kai joined social media to issue a new statement after being included in the WWE release yesterday.
Kai is one of 17 names the company will let go, including six from the main roster, Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, Szcze, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
This actually marks Kai’s second WWE release as it was released in April 2022 and then quickly returned to Summerslam the following July as part of the original formation of Ctrl alongside Bayley and Iyo Sky.
After first responding to the release with a GIF of CJ from GTA San Andreas, and saying, “Oh, I’ll go here,” Kai issued a full statement after her departure.
She wrote:
Whether it comes from friends, family, colleagues, coaches, you guys, you guys, you are trying to get through all the messages and guys… I feel like the lucky girl in the world. That’s what’s important.
I had to make memories, make the best friendships, and travel around the world. I am grateful for the opportunity.
It takes a little time, but I just know… we are far from the end. i am ready. Now let’s go.
