WWE Smackdown’s men’s tag team division is currently stacked, with quality illustrated on April 25th by Street Profits, DIY and Motor City Machine Guns’ recent TLC ladder matches.
Despite the quality of these teams and many others from Raw, NXT, Smackdown, and the male and female tag team departments could benefit from shake-up and refreshment.
One way to do this is to bring together a new team. Many stars need new directions and opportunities.
Here are five new WWE tag teams.
5. IljaDragunov & Shemus
It would be harder to find two performers that are suitable for two performers to team up style than Ilja Dragunov or Sheamus.
With their hard strikes, rigid, stiff, nonsense, intense style, they are the perfect match.
Dragnov is currently injured and it is unclear when he will return, but Sheamus is only sporadically used on television, and his return is also in the air.
Teaming up with young Dragnov could be the fresh spray Sheamus needs to rekindle his WWE career.
