WWE recently let go of several wrestlers, including Gigi Dolin, who surprised many fans. Since then, reports claiming that NXT cuts have occurred due to talent not being well trained, Dolin has firmly denied these claims.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, many of the released NXT wrestlers were perceived as not working hard during training. He said that WWE sometimes labels these wrestlers as “lazy” and has no problem releasing talents they think they don’t try hard enough. With so many hardworking wrestlers around, those who are not prominent or viewed as devoted are more likely to be let go.
“Many of these cuts were perceived as not working hard in training, and if you’re not working hard in training, there are a lot of people. And at this point, if you’re not working hard in training – I saw the term “lazy” – there are no lazy people and the people who weren’t noticeable leave. ”
Gigi Dolin took her to Twitter to comment on reports and when she wasn’t traveling for work, she trained hard three or four times a week, bumped and did cardio with a tough coach.
Dorin also works every day and regularly engages in live events. She said her body feels the effects of all that effort, and she doesn’t want to hear the claim that she is not trained enough.
“When I wasn’t traveling to work for any of the two companies I worked for, I trained very hard three-4 days a week, slamming my ass and doing cardio with one of the best/tough coaches I’ve worked with.
Cora Jade, a former WWE star among the released people, added her voice to the conversation. Jade is heading for Ereina Black, but has answered with more details about the training environment.
Jade’s comments suggest that not only did the wrestlers put in considerable effort, but also dealt with toxic environments, including physical shame from multiple sources within the company.
Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade were among the many recently released WWE superstars, as their latest round cuts included stars like Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, Eddy Thorpe, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.
Both Dorin and Jade have made it clear that fans should know that fans are putting in considerable effort every day, despite the reports claim. Nevertheless, we need to wait for what’s next for these talents as fans look forward to seeing their future in wrestling.
