Austrian star Thekla is reportedly tied to the US following the expiration of his contract with Japanese promotional Stardom.
The 32-year-old star, who ran for four years in the promotion, has been attracting interest from American wrestling companies, including WWE and AEW, according to Fightful Select. A recent report by “Fightur” claims that The Kla had planned to move to the US for some time, and that WWE has been keeping an eye on her since signing Giulia. Meanwhile, WWE’s rival promotion has expressed interest in signing her in the second half of 2024, and Aew’s backstage backstage believes she will be part of God. Same report.
Thekla began his professional wrestling career in Europe before appearing in several Japanese promotions before making the switch to stardom. The Austrian, considered one of the most important foreign stars in the promotion, was part of the Donna Delmondian, along with the current “WWE NXT” star Julia. The group disbanded in January 2024 when the Japanese Stars switched to WWE and debuted in September.
If Thekla joins WWE, she will jump from stardom to WWE, joining the aforementioned Julia, Kailisane, Piper Niven, Stephanie Verke, and WWE Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky, becoming one of many stars in recent years. AEW also has several stars who previously worked at Stardom. This includes Tonistorm, Megan Beneu and WWE Bound Mariahmay.
