WWE tag team champion Xavier Woods showed support for his friend and newly released colleague Shayna Baszler on Friday following news of a main roster cut, including “WWE NXT” and “The Queen of Spades.” Baszler was often featured on Woods’ “Upupdowndown” YouTube channel for many years. Woods posted a photo on his X (formerly Twitter) account showing himself alongside Baszler, dressed in the nines in a suit.
Woods did not provide captions or context for the photos, but fans of the reply lamented Basser and others would let go on Friday. In my first reply to the photo, I asked Woods to keep “Upupdowndown”, but the channel is owned by WWE. The YouTube channel is packed with videos of newly released talents playing video games with Woods, including Dakotakai, Cesaro, the biggest male models, Ember Moon, and Baron Corbin. It’s unlikely that Baszler or Kai will appear in the channel’s new videos, but the previous look remains visible to fans.

Baszler posted her own response to her release on X on Friday, saying no one can offer what she does. She also reposted a photo of Woods and a photo posted by Zoe Stark, a former partner of the sewing machine and tag team.
