AEW TNT champion Adam Cole explained why he, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong detailed their future goals on Go under the name Paragon.
The trio recently split from the incontroversial kingdom and began calling themselves Paragons, and when Cole appeared in the recent Comic Nation, he explained the reasoning and motto behind the new name.
“So, Paragon, obviously, that means you are elite, you are the best and best way. So, in so many different ways that the names suit me, Kyle, and Roddy. Within us, we bring out the best from each other.
Cole explained that winning the TNT Championship was the first step in that direction and that he hopes the group will win more titles. While talking about the ongoing feud with FTR, he praised them and said they were one of the best tag teams of all time. He believes he’s going to pass on some kind of statement on FTR and hopes they can do the same with the matches they put in the ring, the new names, and the titles they win.
Cole, O’Reilly, and Strong were previously referred to as incontroversial times in the WWE, and were later called incontroversial kingdoms when they merged with the kingdom made up of Mike Bennett and Matt Taben.
