We Hall of Fame Kevin Nash hasn’t bought online chat about the drama between Rock and Triple H. In fact, he believes the entire rumor is being blown away in an unbalanced way.
In his latest episode Kliq This Podcast, Nash directly addressed behind-the-scenes tension speculation between Dwayne “Rock” Johnson and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. “I can’t see the tension.”
Nash pointed to Rock’s Jampack Hollywood schedule as the real reason he’s not deeply involved in WWE’s daily creatives. “Does anyone know what IMDB is, and you go to their pages and you see the projects he has? Dwayne is pretty busy.” Nash said, honing the idea that a kind of behind-the-scenes power struggle will be brewed.
According to Nash, Locke is not in politics. He manages his legacy. “He still has skin in the game. He still has ring time and hopes that certain things will adjust certain methods for him.” He explained.
And when it comes to rock priorities, Nash kept it real: “Dwayne doesn’t see what’s best for the company. He sees what’s best for the character.”
Online rumors love to propose friction between the two most powerful names of wrestling, but Nash’s take offers a basic reality check. Rock’s focus is not on the politics of the locker room, but on his own endgame.
