Wrestler Ej Nduka is a free agent and his AEW contract has recently expired. Over the weekend, Nduka joined social media platform X and shared some thoughts about former boss Tony Khan. Posting a clip of Khan, answering questions about Nduka during media calls, it appears that Nduka, the highlight in his own ring, threw shade in Khan’s direction.
“The vision was not a conference call,” Nduka wrote. “It was a revelation. They weren’t going to see it…just to witness it unfold.”
A former footballer and bodybuilder, Nduka previously worked for WWE and MLW in addition to AEW. During WWE, Nduka was a recruit from a performance centre that was not used on television and was eventually released in 2021.
Following his run with MLW, he signed with AEW in 2023, and Nduka is reportedly interested in the Japanese wrestling promotion. He appears to have signed a two-year deal with AEW at that time, and after serving a series of dark matches in 2023, Nduka was placed in the Ring of Honor brand in July 2024.
Nduka is currently able to explore other opportunities within professional wrestling, and appears to be keen to do so. Since news about his free agent status broke, wrestlers have been hyping up his reworked version of his character on social media. That includes that he will soon appear in the reality of Booker T’s wrestling promotion, perhaps with a new stable. Nduka recently wrestled in GCW’s fourth rope/Heel Have Eyes Show.
