Former WWE and TNA wrestling star Rhino will appear at the AEW and ROH shows scheduled to take place in his hometown of Detroit.

After 30 years of participating in the pro wrestling business, Rhino will be taking part in the AEW show, which will take place on May 7th and May 8th, at the Masonic Temple Arena in Detroit, Michigan. “AEW Dynamite” will be held on May 7th, and “AEW Collision” will be tapered the next day. AEW also announced that ROH will be tapered for the last two days too.

“‘The Man Beast’ Rhino will make a live appearance at Detroit, Freemasonry Temple, on Wednesday May 7th and Thursday May 8th. I said an AEW post.

Rhino will appear in AEW for the first time this week, but he has appeared several times under his previous administration at ROH, who had previously wrestled several times between 2010 and 2014. The ECW original execution at TNA Wrestling expired in December 2024, and he has since worked on various indie promotions and has also appeared in the NWA.

AEW has yet to announce what role Rhino will play this week and which of the two days will be featured.

So far, AEW has announced two matches for “Dynamite” at the time of this writing. The six-man tag team match will feature a young backsteam with Ricochet against Swave Strickland, Mark Brisco and Mike Bailey, facing former A-World champion Samoa Joe and Claudecast Gnoli singles match, John Match.
