Former WWE star confirmed the appearance of AEW

The former WWE US and Hardcore Champion was confirmed in May 2025 with an appearance on AEW and ROH.

Aee will head to Detroit on May 7th and 8th to host AEW Dynamite at the Masonic Temple Theatre.

The fan not only gets dynamite action, but also has a collision of ROH taping and AEW over two nights.

It has also been confirmed that former ECW World Heavyweight Champion “The Man Beast” Rhino will also appear live on both nights.

The announcement was made in a tweet on the official AEW account and we are looking at his appearance and reading.

The former WWE star’s plans for his AEW debut have yet to be revealed except for confirmation that he appears live.

Currently scheduled for dynamite on May 7th are Samoa Joe vs Claudio Castagnoli, Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) and Ricochet vs. Swave Strickland, Mike Bailey and Mark Brisco.

Jamie Heighter, the finalist of the Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament, will also be holding a sit-in interview with Lenny Puckett.

In December 2024, Rhino confirmed that he had broken up with TNA Wrestling five years later.

Sai, a former NWA world heavyweight champion, was inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2024.
