The two former WWE champions returned to the ring on May 10th, and their opponents were revealed.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were released from their second contract in February 2025 from their WWE contract.

As Anderson recovers from an injury that requires surgery, his ring is mostly above us, and the enemy is now confirmed.

As recently reported, Good Brothers will return to action on May 10, 2025 with Maple Leaf Pro.

A new update has appeared in the match as Gallows and Anderson are facing two current NJPW stars in the form of David Finlay and Drilla Moloney.

The official Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Twitter account, which announced “Historical Tag Team Matchups,” suggests what to expect from two very different generations of Bullet Clubs.

“This is a historic tag team matchup between the two dominant teams in Bullet Club history. The Good Brothers (@machinegunka & @the_biglg) were the warlords of the Bullet Club’s OG tag team, while War Dogs (David Finlay & Drilla Moloney) ran the Roost!

“Can old dogs learn new tricks or do war dogs make them heels?

Moloney, a former WWE star for NXT UK, lined up with the war dogs in June 2023, and Finlay joined the group that March of the year.

Since debuting in April 2023, Moloney has become a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship with the Clark Connors.

Finlay is an IWGP global heavyweight champion and former IWGP tag team champion (with Juice Robinson), hosting the Never Openweight Championship and the Openweight 6-man tag team championship (Ricocheto and Kojima Sato).

Gallows & Anderson is a three-time IWGP tag team champion, with the latter also hosting the Never Openweight Championship.

The last time the Good Brothers shared the ring with Finlay was in August 2022 at the NJPW G1 Climax 32.
