It wasn’t too long ago that WWE fans often reded the promotions that they couldn’t create new stars. But their weakness is a thing of the past. WWE’s roster is so top-heavy that wrestlers must always be at the top of the game.
As WWE gradually moved into a new era, they scouted global talent and worked overtime to develop NXT’s devastated diamonds. As was usually the case with promotions, fans can identify wrestlers whom WWE thinks will lead the roster in the coming years. Breaker sauce It is one of the names at the top of the list. Steiner is explosive, athletic, powerful and charismatic. But another wrestler fought himself for the top spot – Obafemi. The Nigerian wrestler fascinated NXT fans as a massive, big man. His rise to the top of the developmental brand was incredible and he worked to be taken seriously as an elite talent. Both men make strong claims to the face of WWE heading for the next generation.
Bron Breaker checks all boxes wwe are looking for its top star
Rick Steiner’s son is one of the most explosive athletes WWE has ever seen.
- WWE has made Bron Breakker the face of NXT 2.0.
- They joined the main roster, with general managers from both Raw and Smackdown competing for his signature to create a ton of Breakkers.
- Breakker’s alliance with Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins helps you climb to the main event.
The moment Bron Breakker signed a developmental agreement with WWE in February 2021, it was clear that the promotion had planned something big for him. When he began to appear in programming, he was handpicked as the face of NXT 2.0. Unlike most wrestlers who work towards the top by winning a mid-card title in Breakker’s first title victory, it was the NXT Championship. He defeated Tomaso Cimpa in early 2022 in a match that could only be seen as a change in security guards.
When Bron was ready for the main roster, WWE made it a lot, Raw and Smackdown general managers tried to get his signature. Soon he became a two-time Intercontinental champion, alongside Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman after WrestleMania 41. The insane speed and power in the Breakker ring took him over with his fans, proven why he is a unique talent.
He can be enjoyed as a babyface or heel, above average on the microphone. Breakker gets everything in sports entertainment. As his fanbase grows, WWE must pull the trigger and choose the right timing to make him the new face of the company.
Oba Femi’s aura and ability to entertain is incredible
The power of the NXT champion cannot be denied
- Oba Femi has attracted the attention of fans and management since the moment she debuted with NXT Level Up in 2022.
- Femi reigned long as the NXT North American Champion, winning the NXT Champion shortly after losing his first title.
- Femi is a monster with a charismatic bucket and his presentation on NXT was perfect.
Oba Femi called for attention the moment he debuted on November 18th, 2022 with NXT Level Up. It wasn’t long before he found himself in NXT as a North American champion. He won the title for 273 days before dropping gold to Tony Dangello on the CW premiere episode of NXT.
After a short break, he returned to programming, winning the Iron Survivor Challenge and defeating Trick Williams to become the NXT champion. He even got TV approval from The Undertaker, but it’s huge. Through all this, Femi appears to be getting better every week. He has a solid grasp of his character and knows how to enjoy it. He throws enemies like a ragdoll, evoking the memories of Brock Lesnar. If necessary, he can speed up the pace and perform the feat of agility that his size should be able to. He is a monster in the greatest sense of the word, and everything about his NXT presentations plays his strengths as a performer.
WWE has historically struggled to book monsters consistently, but Obafemi is a different breed. Beyond his size and physical abilities, Femi is a powerful character worker. That means that when the time comes, his versatility will become incredibly valuable on the main roster.
Is there space at the top for both Breakker and Femi?
WWE Creative may prefer one power over the other powers
- WWE usually goes with one wrestler as the company’s indisputable face.
- Bron Breakker has proven himself with NXT and main roster as a babyface and heel.
- Oba Femi has not yet been tested on the main roster, but it is unclear whether he will be able to adapt to the new character.
WWE has several main event stars, but historically relied on one wrestler, making it an indisputable face for the company. John Cena, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are all large players in-house and have stints as top dogs in promotions.
As for Oba Femi and Bron Breakker, WWE chose one guy and the money is currently in Breakker. Femi has some strengths, but it’s difficult to measure how he does it on the main roster, especially if his character is changed. Meanwhile, Breakker has been around the block for a while, proving that he can find a way to get to the top. He is also a second generation superstar, giving him an edge over feminists.
That’s not to say that a big man is far from it and gets tired of the shadows. Names like Seth Rollins, CM Punk and Randy Orton weren’t the undeniable faces of WWE, but they’re still some of the most beloved wrestlers the company has ever seen. The Bron Breaker and the Obafemy are both in their 20s and have a long way to go before them. If they can concentrate on honing their skills and perfecting the meaning of becoming a sporting entertainer, then we don’t know how big they will be.
