The rage that spans the end of WrestleMania 41 may have finally settled, but speculation about the relationship between Rock and Triple H is not. While Rock said he’s done some of the WrestleMania builds differently since explaining WrestleMania’s absence in “The Pat McCuffy Show,” some wonder if there’s a bit of a riff between Rock and Triple H, just like on Wrestling Day.
Last week’s “Something in Wrestling,” Conrad Thompson and JBL discussed the possibility, and the WWE Hall of Fame did not dismiss the idea that there could be a legal fever between Rock and Triple H.
“I… obviously you have two giant alpha men who could take stance for the position,” JBL said. “It’s certainly rational and I think it happens not just in the US, but in the world, in the world, in every company’s office. I think that’s normal… I don’t know if that’s happening or not. They’re saying the right thing.
At the same time, JBL admitted that if they had to guess what’s going on, they would say the lock and triple H issue is their job.
“The easiest time to work for people is when you shoot with them,” JBL said. “Also, all of a sudden, you feel like you’re putting them inside. You’re putting them all in. And you just say, ‘Hey guys… they really don’t like each other.” And this is probably what will be filming, who knows. Yes, I think I’m making it the second one.
