Joe Hendry is officially set to defend the TNA World Championships at the WWE show with the NXT Stars.
Since his match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania, Hendry has returned to appearing regularly on NXT.
He is caught up in a feud with Trick Williams, who has advanced on both NXT TV and TNA programming, and Williams also appears there.
We now know when rivalries will come to mind.
Hendry will face Williams for the TNA World title at the WWE NXT Battleground event on May 25th.
Next week’s NXT episode of May 13th will play host to the contract signing segment featuring both Hendry and Williams.
The Battleground cards also feature an NXT Championship match against current champion Obafemi, who defends the winner of tonight’s No. 1 competitor Battle Royale, Milesborde.
Meanwhile, Stephanie Verker defends the NXT Women’s Championship against Jordin Grace.
