2025 has been an eventful year for AEW in terms of free agent signings coming into the promotion to add depth to the roster.

With all the marks after the arrival of Speedball Mike Bailey, Megan Baine and Josh Alexander, all of the others, the promotion’s latest star has proven to be a valuable asset to AEW.

The free agency market has added more talent after the recent WWE release, so there could be more arrivals over the coming weeks and months.

Here are seven potential new AEW signatures.

7. Cushida

With the January 18th, 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kushida made his company debut in a fierce battle with Darby Allin for the TNT Championship.

The six-time IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion recently left TNA Wrestling after signing a double deal between Promotion and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

If Kushida’s tag team partner Kevin Knight signs a double contract with NJPW and AEW, the other half of the intergalactic jet setters join Tony Khan’s company, that makes sense.

Kushida is still one of the best junior heavyweights in the world today, and will feel like an ideal fit for promotions known as the “best wrestling.”
