Once a week has come before John Moxley and Samoa Joe crash into a steel cage for the AEW World Championship, tonight’s “AEW Dynamite” will set the table for that big match, with Joe taking on Li during Moxley’s death rider. But there are a lot of other things happening, especially in the women’s sector. There, three wrestlers are trying to solidify themselves as the next opponent of the “timeless” Tonistorm, the AEW women’s world champion.
On X at just after 10pm on Tuesday evening, AEW owner Tony Kahn announced the unique AEW Women’s World Championship four-way eliminator match, which will compete with stormy Thunderchitte teammates Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay and Penelopeford. The match was the second title eliminator match announced on the card, and Karn revealed that Akonchuchika Kazuchika Okada Kazuka will face Kevin Knight and that he won the title shot if Knight wins.

The Title Eliminator has become the standard for the Storm ever since beating Megan Benene to maintain the women’s championship in the AEW dynasty. Over the past few weeks, she played three Eliminator matches, winning them all, defeating Queen Aminata, Yoshiro’s Miyashita Shrine in Tokyo, and Mrs. Frost. Storm encourages more women to step up and face her, but it’s fair to wonder if this schedule can bring back the storm to the backskirt, especially with three potential challengers she needs to deal with.
It’s still not known if anyone will appear as a Storm challenger, but she has at least one. Jamie Heiter and Mercedes Mohn have title shots for the Double or Or Of The Women’s World for the Owen Hart Cup. Hayter will also be taking part in “Dynamite” tonight and will be taking part in a sit-in interview with Lenny Puckett.
