AEW is rumoured to have signed another former stardom wrestler, suggesting that Tony Khan and the company have finalized a deal to lead The Kla to AEW.

Recently, the report claims that the Austrian star has left Japan’s promotion and is focusing on switching to America’s promotion. “Fightful Select” now reports that AEW has signed her, and she is now an official AEW star, and the deal reportedly has been debated for a while. The report further highlighted whether AEW rival promotion WWE is also interested in signing the Stardom Champion Goddess, which has been their target since late last year.

During her eight years of professional wrestling career, TheKla has wrestled in Japan mainly for promotions such as Stardom and Ice Ribbon. The 32-year-old wrestler’s arrival was teased by AEW in the past week’s “AEW Dynamite.” Her red spider logo appeared on screen during a four-way AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator match: Toni, Storm, Anna Jay, Thunder Rosa and Penelopeford. AEW has several famous events that will allow the Thekla debut at next week’s beach break “Dynamite” or Double or Nothing later in the month.

The veteran star Rhino, who wrestled for several years at ECW, TNA Wrestling and WWE over the past week, made his AEW debut when he wrestled in his hometown of Detroit. Last month, another former TNA wrestling star Joshu Alexander made his debut with AEW when he faced Adam Page in the Owen Hart Foundation 2025 quarterfinals.
