Following last week’s release of WWE talent, including names such as Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler, speculation began quickly as to where these wrestlers could make their way next. Aew Star Thunder Rosa didn’t wait to see who she wanted to see in all the elite wrestling.
Speaking about SiriusXM’s busted open radio shortly after the news of SiriusXM broke, the former AEW women’s world champion specifically picked out former NXT women’s champion and WWE women’s tag team champion Shayna Baszler. Rosa has strong admiration for Baszler’s abilities and experience, making him think that Baszler will be a welcome addition to the AEW roster.
“Shaina Baszler. I love Shaina. I love her. I always love her,” emphasized Thunder Rosa. “And I think she’s solid about everything she does. She’s really good at cutting promotions. She has a lot of experience on TV. I think she’s great…”
Rosa detailed the specific role she sees in Baszler in AEW. “I think we need more women in those men’s stables. I think that adds more to things… I think Shayna will add a lot to that mix.”
