WWE stars who have everything (except the push they deserve)

10 Min Read

Pro Wrestling’s “push” is one term that casual fans may not understand. But pushing is essential to a wrestler’s success. When the company decides to “push” the stars, they give them airtime, more promotion time, more wins, and more popular (or hated) by the fans. when WWE The machine is behind you and success usually lasts.

In some cases, fans will see performers who have all the manufacturers of elite-level superstars, but without the push they need, the best success will not be achieved. No matter what the fans think, if management doesn’t see the star the same way, the push may never happen. The lack of push was the only thing that would stop these celebrities from becoming elite.

Matt Morgan

Blueprints that require push

debut

October 2, 2002

The greatest achievement

2x TNA World Tag Team Champion

Matt Morgan checked out more boxes than most young WWE wrestlers can during their rookie years. Morgan was 7 feet tall and weighed 300 pounds. In addition to being jacked, Morgan was a Division 1 basketball player. Morgan also graduated from university with a public speaking degree. These physical and intellectual benefits helped me write a star throughout Morgan.

However, WWE started and stopped with Morgan throughout his career. From being a Team Lesnar giant to teaming up with Nathan Jones to somehow developing a stutter, Morgan didn’t get a chance at WWE. Morgan eventually became a star (and blueprint) in TNA wrestling, but it could have been a push from WWE.

Author of Pain

Even the legendary Paul Ellering couldn’t get a push on them

debut

June 8, 2016

The greatest achievement

1x Raw Tag Team Champion

The author of Pain appears to be part of the dominant tag team. Akam and Rezar are big, explosive athletes. Once they were paired with manager Paul Ellering, the sky was at its limit. Many fans felt that the author of Pain would become a modern version of the Legion of Destiny managed by Ellaring.

The duo will dominate the NXT from 2016 to 2018. The team will host the Raw Tag Team Championship in just over a month during the main roster run. However, management never gave the Behemoth Tag Team a push equal to their appearance.

Cora Jade

Cora Jade couldn’t get the right push

Cora Jade makes her entrance to TNA's shock! January 2025

debut

December 9, 2018

The greatest achievement

1x NXT Tag Team Champion

Cora Jade looked like one of the next big things for NXT. Jade was always reserved near the top of the NXT card, but was never pushed as a single champion. Jade combined the solids of his ring skill to combine powerful promotions with a popping look on screen. Jade had all the makers of the future WrestleMania main event in WWE.

Jade is only 24 years old, but fans were shocked when WWE released her on May 2nd. Jade is WWE’s Roxanne Perez (let the tag partners go off again again. But the genius is now in RAW and Cora Jade is out of WWE. As many have done before, Jade appears to be destined to eventually return to WWE and get the push she deserves.

Shelton Benjamin

Gold Standard could have been the WWE World Champion

Shelton Benjamin Aew TNT Championship

debut

January 10, 2000

The greatest achievement

3x WWE Intercontinental Champion

It’s hard to suggest that Shelton Benjamin didn’t have a huge success in WWE. The former Gold Standard was very decorated in the company. In WWE, Benjamin not only won three Intercontinental Championships, but he was also a US champion and a three-time tag team champion. But even with all that money, Benjamin didn’t get the push he deserved.

In 2005, Pro Wrestling Illustration was named the world’s ninth best professional wrestler on the annual PWI 500. Obviously, the world title is missing from WWE resumes.

Val has arrived

WWE fans loved Val Venis in the era of attitude

Val Venis TNA

debut

1994

The greatest achievement

2x WWE Intercontinental Champion

When Val Venis was given the adult movie star gimmick and made his WWE debut in 1998, most fans were sure he would become the future world heavyweight champion. Venis’ promotions and vignettes were a must-see television in the era of attitude. His entire gimmick was obscene and sophomomorphic, but the material leapt into that era.

Without the work of popular characters, Venice looked good, moved well in the ring, allowing him to easily wrest both larger and smaller enemies. However, WWE management never pushed Big Balbowski to the main event photos. With the main event push, Venice may have been a legendary WWE performer.

Ashley Masaro

Diva search winners deserve more

debut

August 22, 2005

The greatest achievement

2005 Diva Search Winner

When Ashley Massaro won the 2005 Diva search, fans assumed Stardom would be her next achievement. The blonde bombshell jumped off the screen and stood out while some of the most popular “divas” of all time were on WWE TV. Masaro worked with Trish Stratos several times to add to the fire that she will become the next Big WWE Diva.

However, Masaro never won a WWE title, and even her incredible on-screen appearance, WWE released her in the summer of 2008. Small Building.

Gangrel

Edge and Christian got his push

Gangrel

debut

1988

The greatest achievement

PWI Rookie of the Year

In the summer of 1998, Gangrel made his WWE debut. Gangrel, who previously competed as a vampire warrior in USWA, portrayed vampire mechanisms in WWE. Gangrel quickly formed a Gothic stable with edges and Christians known as the Chicken. But WWE really picked up Edge and Christian pushes in the tag team match and quickly dropped Gangrel to the card.

Despite his charming character and excellent in-ring work and psychology, Gangrell never received the push worthy of his talent. Gangrell has made sporadic appearances in all elite wrestling, featuring the character followed by the cult.

The power of pain

Warlord and Barbarian looked like the company’s top team

The power of pain

debut

1987

The greatest achievement

NWA Six Man Tag Team Champion (with Ivankolov)

The power of pain looked like a super villain when he debuted in WWE during his Golden Era. The warlords and wild people had large physiques and painted faces. Many would have called them Road Warrior Lipov, but the duo looked ridiculous. They feud quickly with the dismantling of the tag team champions in WWE.

In comparison, the power of pain was greater and more intimidating than the dismantling duo that had been painted on the face. However, Powers of Pain never pushed his time with WWE to a true tag team. The giant duo eventually split up in WWE and was forced to compete in a singles competition.

Raven

Raven was a bigger star in ECW & WCW

Raven trimmed

debut

February 20, 1988

The greatest achievement

  • 2x ECW World Heavyweight Champion

  • 1x NWA World Heavyweight Champion

Raven is a 26-time WWE Hardcore Champion. Unfortunately, that is where his resume ends in his WWE career. Raven is also a two-time ECW world champion, also the NWA world champion, WCW US champion and WCW World Tag Team champion, but WWE did not push him as a competitor in the world championship.

Raven is a supporter of the cult to this day, but in his Prime he was one of the most popular wrestlers on the planet. But WWE didn’t treat him or push him against him like the stars he knew. WWE only pushed Raven into the Hardcore Championship category. Raven deserved a much better WWE push.

Tonistom

Tony Storm did not receive a timeless WWE push

Toni Storm Aew March 2025

debut

October 9, 2009

The greatest achievement

4x AEW World Champion

It’s easy to claim that Tonistom is the biggest star of all elite wrestling today. Her “timeless” gimmicks and feuds with Mariah May were some of the best AEW TV of all time. But WWE had the Tonistorm first. They seem to appreciate even the talent she had.

Ripley and Tonystorm looked like the main event for future WrestleMania. However, at the end of 2021, WWE confirmed to Storm for her release, and she became a much bigger star elsewhere. WWE didn’t push Tonistorm as she deserves, despite her incredible appearance and excellent ring-in skills.
