Alexa Bliss is reportedly preparing to visit the road again in WWE, sparking speculation that her return in the ring may be closer than expected.
According to Fightful Select “Alexa Bliss is not sure when she is expected to be used, but it appears she’s been moving back to the road.”
The update follows a report from Pwinsider that Bliss was behind the scenes at tonight’s Smackdown in Dayton, Ohio. Despite being at the Nutter Center, there were no indications that she would appear on camera. With the Backlash Premium Live event just a few days away, fans want to see if WWE will eventually pull the trigger on her long-standing return.
Bliss has not been seen on WWE TV since her brief Royal Rumble appearance in January. WWE Creative reportedly had a Bliss plan to lead Wyatt Sids along with Bodals’ uncle Howdy character, but those plans were put on hold after Dallas was injured.
Despite the delay, sources previously said that Bliss is still locked up as a major player in the storyline and is waiting for the creative to give her a green light. The 31-year-old was also spotted at WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas, where she attended the event and interacted with fans, further increasing speculation about her return.
Bliss recently signed a new WWE agreement earlier this year, posting mysterious messages on social media, hinting at her status. She reportedly returned to the road, so is she now prepared to return to the fold, or is she prepared to keep her in standby for the correct storyline?
