Joe Hendry may still be on a contract with TNA wrestling, but it appears he is heading for WWE in the near future.

Pwinsider Elite reports that “Hendry often places paper from the pen in WWE upon the end of his current contract with TNA Wrestling, and many people are considered locks. Hendry has been part of TNA since competing in Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory 2022, becoming the TNA World Champion at TNA Genesis on January 19th, but previously worked for the company from mid-2018 to early 2019.

Hendry will appear in the “WWE NXT” episodes on April 29th and May 6th, calling Trick Williams during the former, and will work together in an effort to defeat NXT tag team champions Hank Walker and Tank Leisure. Previously, he was answering Randy Orton’s call for an open challenge at 2pm on WrestleMania 41, pointed out by Pwinsider Elite, who received in a very positive way about how he handled the situation.
