Former WWE superstar Indy Hartwell recently revealed the surprising timing of her release and the emotional journey that continued in his apparent interview with Chris Van Vriette. Insight Podcast.
In a candid conversation, Hartwell explained the ironic timing of WWE’s departure.
“Every time I was in WWE, I was always scared of being released, and adding another factor is that I am international.
But it was like being in the depths of my mind and I was scared of being fired. But until my last two weeks at WWE, I finally felt comfortable. It was released after that, just like it was filmed for Netflix. ”
“I called to get fired.”
Perhaps even more unusual was what Hartwell learned about her release. Rather than receiving the news in person, she first missed the call.
“When they called me to free me, I missed the call. So I called to be fired. I had a text message. I didn’t see any missed calls.
So I called, and I thought it was like a completely different topic and I lost my voice too. So when I called back I said, “Ah, hey, sorry. So, I lost my voice. Haha. ‘They said, ‘Oh, we’re calling with some unfortunate news.’
In addition to the strange circumstances, WWE aired a match featuring Hartwell the same day she was released:
“I was very confused. ‘But what does it mean? But yeah, that was strange… that’s a great little promotion for you.
Emotional roller coaster
The 28-year-old Australian wrestler described the emotional roller coaster that followed her unexpected release.
“It was like a roller coaster, it was like up and down. I felt like I was really grateful, as if I remember the first week I released. This is how my feelings turned out. The first week was very grateful for what I had. As you know, I was like you.
The second week was frustrating and crazy. Week 3 made me feel a little sad and then I felt fine. And now it’s been 5 months and I think it’s almost 6 months. Yes, I feel really good. I was excited to see there was so much to do. ”

Hartwell also revealed another unusual situation surrounding her release. She received the news just before attending the wedding of former WWE star Mandy Rose.
“When I was released, I had just flew for Mandy Rose’s wedding, so I got a call saying I had been released and two hours later I had to like cocktail hour at her wedding.
Despite his career setback, Hartwell maintains a positive outlook and believes it will happen for all reasons. She later signed with TNA Wrestling and launched a growing YouTube channel, showing resilience in the face of career uncertainty.
