AEW star was stripped of the championship in another company, and a new champion has already been crowned.
Last night, on May 9, 2025, the House of Glory Waiting War took place at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, Illinois.
The show found the return of Cedric Alexander’s ring after it was released by WWE when WWE faced former AEW star Mike Santana, but there was another story about the talent of AEW today.
Aew’s Megan Bayne had reigned as Hog Women’s World Champion since he defeated Ultra Violet on July 26, 2024.
Bane then had three defenses. One against Kylie Ray in September, the other against Lena Cross in September, and the other against Allicutch in December.
With Bayne not defending the title at all in 2025, Hog commissioner Jason Solomon announced last night that the title was vacated on Wasing War and that Bayne is no longer the champion.
Solomon then announced that the scheduled match between Indy Hartwell and Yamasita Palace would become a title match, with Hartwell winning and becoming the new champion.
Hartwell recently announced that he has signed with TNA Wrestling after being released by WWE in November.
