On May 9, 2025, the WWE Smackdown episode made a chaotic turn when fans threw a beer bottle at WWE champion John Cena during the promotional segment. Cena, who was speaking to the Dayton crowd after the match, initially referred to the incident in the promotion, but his expression said it all. He wasn’t happy.
Another camera angle captured the moment the fan fired the bottle at Cena, making security act faster. The unruly audience was quickly escorted from the arena as the remaining crowd booed the interruption.
Despite the confusion, Cena returned to orbit and opened verbal firing on both Fan and Randy Orton. But things just escalate from there. A hooded figure ran through the ring and tried to attack Cena with an RKO, but Cena rebutted with a quick attitude adjustment.
Although Cena thought she had dealt with the threat, no real surprise had come yet. The hooded attacker wasn’t Orton, but Orton was still hiding. The Vipers instantly bumped into her, slamming Sheena with a vicious RKO, closing the show, laying out the WWE Champion in the ring.
