Naomi Screks Jade Cargill wins female title contenders match at WWE Smackdown

Nia Jax is the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Women’s Championship after interference from Naomi won with “WWE Smackdown.” Jax’s opponent Jade Cargill won when Naomi appeared and attacked Tiffany Stratton, who was watching the match from ringside. Cargill was distracted, so Jax managed to win Senton and An-Nia-Lator.

Before the match, Cargill stared at Charlotte Flair. He had just declared that she was on the path to regaining the female title. Upon entering the ring, Cargill tells the “Queen” to get behind the line. During the match, Cargill looked impressive, delivering a Samoa drop to the former champion. Jacks attacked her with a Powerbomb, Cargill’s receipt delivered last week. After Cargill landed a frog splash and a pump kick, she appeared to jump ahead of the line, but Naomi ended it.

Stratton was openly cheering on her former mentor to defeat Cargill, who has lost twice to Jacks in singles action. Jax vs. Stratton is not yet set up and has no plans for a backlash, but it could take place in future episodes of “Smackdown” or “Saturday Night’s Main Ivent” on NBC.
