Shotzi Blackheart discusses getting on the bench by WWE before its release

Shotzi Blackheart is ready to show the world that she can finally do.

His final years at WWE weren’t the best for the former NXT star. She had been placed on the shelves multiple times due to various injuries, so the river spent quite a bit of time off the TV, even after being cleaned up for her return. Overall, Blackheart has been playing less than 10 TV matches for the company since 2024, including two WWE speed matches.

This is why Shotzi doesn’t feel bad about the official’s decision not to renew her contract. The wrestling star, who is scheduled to leave the company in July, was asked in an interview with Bust Open how she feels. The former NXT Tag Champion claimed she felt her weight was lifted off her shoulders.

“To be honest, I wasn’t expecting this, but I feel very free. I feel this weight is lifted from me. I just feel clearly. And I feel very motivated and excited about the future.

Shodzi Blackheart admitted it was extremely frustrating when asked how the company felt about being on the bench, even after being allowed to compete. She realized that being an active part of the company is the best feeling in the world. But once they stop using you, it will quickly become heart-numb:

“It’s very frustrating. When they’re using you, it’s the best job in the world. It’s so much fun, and it’s really the best.

It feels like no one believes you. You’re just sitting at home or catering for months. It’s heart-numbing, confused, and boring like hell.

So I’m finally excited to get out there and kick my ass on my condition. I can create my own schedule. I’m not going to put myself in catering. I’m going to get out there and get my butt out. ”
