The good brothers returned to New Japan’s professional wrestling, but they were not alone. In the first match since WWE was released, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows worked with the Young Bucks for a chaotic eight-man tag match with the NJPW revival on May 9, 2025.
It wasn’t a fan of the reunion, but it was a hit. The good brothers and the Bucks joined forces against the War Dog and Ged in a wild brawl that began before the bell rang. Nicholas Jackson jumped out of the stage and set the tone early, and from there it was mayhem.
The action spills into the crowd and returns to the ring, where Gabe Kidd gets the chance to provoke his enemy and points to the young Bucks “Young Cuck” And call Karl Anderson “A white guy here now.” The garbage story didn’t end well for Kid, who ate a sit-out power bomb from the gallows and a gun from Anderson.
After a series of super kicks and double-team moves, the Bucks and Good Brothers took control. The finish led the Gallows to lift the Gedo over his shoulder and connect it to the EVP trigger, followed by the Meltzer driver. Anderson sealed his contract with the magical killer and won the victory at 13:40.
After the match, the Bucks and Good Brothers developed familiars “Too sweet” A hand gesture, but when the war dogs seemed ready to take part, they echoed over the stage and they meandered away.
Will the Good Brothers officially match the younger Bucks once again, or was this just a one-night reunion? Please drop your thoughts in the comments below!
