Jeff Cobb had to make a long journey to achieve his repulsive look.
The former NJPW and AEW star announced his “retirement” after finishing his run in Japan’s promotion in April, leaving him away from the wrestling scene for the past few weeks. The heavyweight star finally returned this week with WWE PPV.
He made a surprising appearance in the fatal four-way US championship match between Jacob Fatu, Drew McIntyre, Damien Priest and La Knight. Cobb took an order from Solosicore and stolen a Lanite during the match. This allowed FATU to ultimately retain the US title.
Pwinsider provided some updates on how this look came about. They revealed that Jeff Cobb was in Japan until this week, and he had to take “somewhere in the 4-5 location” to arrive in St. Louis for tonight’s show. He was then hidden by the management until the match.
Naturally, the site confirmed that the former NJPW TV champion will become part of the upcoming SmackDown roster. This was expected as both Night and Cicor are also part of the Blue Brand show.
Jacob Fatu held the title in the PPV, but he declined to comment on the comment at a post-show press conference, as he seemed unsure of Cobb’s involvement. You need to see how things go and see if the two heavyweights can work together under Solosicore.
