John Cena attacked R-Truth at the official WWE Backlash 2025 Premium Live Event press conference after tonight’s show.
The truth – who denies Cena as a heel and still calls Cena his “childhood hero” – took part in the main event of Cena vs. Randy Orton.
The truth went into the ring and prevented Orton from hitting Cena, which helped Cena maintain the indisputable WWE Championship.
At a post-show press conference, Triple H was answering questions when it was cut off by Cena, who asked him to make a statement.
Cena then promised to get better by asking future media questions and was set to answer some, but he was interrupted by the truth.
The truth is that he says he will never give up, and he has always believed in China, even if people say you can’t smoke and wrestletter.
Cena then replied, “Ron, it was on the line. If I were to say one more thing, it would have an impact.”
The truth was actually trying to answer as Cena rolled him up and landed an attitude adjustment through the table, as you can see below.
