WWE’s 2025 backlash event went down at the Enterprise Arena in St. Louis. John Cena became a controversial and retained his title, but that wasn’t all she wrote for him in St. Louis.
John Cena won the match against Randy Orton in the WWE Backlash. This is thanks to R-Truth, who stopped Orton from panting him.
John Cena trolled the press after his WrestleMania 41 victory. He then came out after the backlash at a press conference. So he said he rethinks how he handled the media.
Cena decided to open a flood for questions and he said he would answer everyone’s questions in the room. He was then asked if he had a conversation with Randy Orton behind the scenes at the event.
This is when R-Truth came out to talk to John Cena. He said he is still the best, even though people say he can’t wrestletter. This upset Cena, and he said the truth to not say another word, or things wouldn’t be pretty.
That’s when R-Truth opened his mouth again. Suddenly, John Cena picked up R-Truth and adjusted his attitude through the title. This was the end of Cena’s era at the press conference, as R-Truth was only laid out on stage and he simply left afterwards.
As John Cena continues his 17th World Title Reign, we must see what we are talking about John Cena next. After this it’s only time to see him as a childhood hero.
