After tonight’s Backlash PLE, there was a big announcement regarding the final WWE match of current incontroversial champion John Cena.

After maintaining the championship with Randy Orton in tonight’s main event, Cena left a 24th date on the WWE Retirement Tour.

Tonight, the news station WCVB in Boston, Massachusetts announced that Cena’s final match will take place in December.

Reporter Shayna Seymour said:

“John Cena’s final match is scheduled for December at TD Garden in Boston.”

There were no specific dates for the specified December, but WWE currently does not have matching and advertised events, so you can still see the exact show he is set to retire.

Cena was born and raised in Massachusetts and has been billed by West Newbury throughout his career.

His victory at Orton tonight came after some somewhat delusional interference from R-Truth.

Orton Rko’d Truth was true, but the distraction was enough for Cena to capitalize for victory.

However, when Truth paused Cena at the official WWE Backlash press conference after the show to swear his support, Cena struck the truth through the table with attitude adjustments.
