John Cena places R-Truth on press conference table using AA following WWE backlash

2 Min Read

John Cena passed R-Truth through the table during the WWE Backlash Post Show.

Cena held the WWE Championship in the main event of the backlash, defeating Randy Orton after multiple referee bumps, finishers and surprise interference from the truth to prevent Orton from hitting punt kicks. The truth received an RKO for his troubles, but ultimately provided the opening for Cena to defeat Orton, allowing “The Last Real World Champion” to continue his retirement tour with the title.

Along the way from her recent appearance at the Post Show press conference, Cena told the media she was in attendance asking questions with respect for her work.

But before he could begin, he was interrupted by the truth about trying to celebrate his “childhood hero.” It seems ok until he says, “Even if you think you can’t smoke and wrestle,” and stops the truth with his truck and tells him that he just crossed the line.

If the truth spoke another word, he threatened violence, then did what he did and provokes Cena to lift him up and strike a adjustment of his attitude through the table.

Cena left while officials saw the truth of the time and approached the post-show press conference stage. That segment follows rumors that Truth and Cena will potentially cooperate with each other in the main event on Saturday night with two weeks in mind.
