The former WWE star revealed they are open to a potential return to future AEW and teased a match with their best friend.
Bee Priestley is one of many WWE stars to be released in early February 2025 and is listed with several former champions.
As she enters the free agency following the end of the non-competitive clause, former Blair Davenport reveals that she accepts potential AEW benefits despite her interest elsewhere.
Bee Priestley, who signed AEW in January 2019, remained in the company until his release in August 2020.
Speaking to Tom Campbell of Cultholic, Priestley discussed his relatives with Toni Storm, and considered a conversation about AEW’s return, saying:
“And definitely with Toni (Storm), everyone knows how close I and Toni are. We’re like sisters at this point. She also lives in Orlando.
“But I definitely follow an open line of having conversations, but I came out of a contract like you have an app and would like to spend a bit of time just doing my thing.
“If you hurt from the gym, or you have a hard match and they book you the next day, you can’t say you don’t feel it. You have to do it even if you don’t feel 100% or you feel like you don’t want to do it. You just need to do it.”
For now, she said she is happy to do what she wants to do, “I’m not a fan of it,” she said.
“So I just want to take what I want to do and do it.
“Even in WWE, ‘Tell me what to do, I’m happy I can do anything.’ I’m not one of those people like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to lose.’ ”
“I’m generally excited, and if there’s someone I really want to fight to be able to push that, I look forward to being excited to play another match with someone I always want and didn’t have a chance, or someone who’s really enjoyed wrestling in the past.
“I’m looking forward to taking on my own for a moment, but maybe after doing it, it’s a little more difficult… But Toni really wants to wrestle me, so I hope that one day it will happen.”
Storm and Priestley were heading towards the end of Frontline’s Bultion Me An Ampire’s singles match in the UK in June 2018.
The match marked one of the Storm’s last independent bookings and signed a WWE deal in May of that year.
Priestley signed with WWE in June 2021, moved to NXT 2.0 in August 2022, and debuted as Blair Davenport on NXT UK before moving to the main roster in June 2024.
