Former WWE star Zach Gowen discussed his appearance on this week’s “AEW Collision,” marking his first television appearance in 20 years.

Gowen was in the audience for “Clashes” this past week. There was a short segment with the now ignorant Ricochet. Following his appearance, Gowen expressed his gratitude to wrestling fans for acknowledging him after all these years, but declared that he still loves wrestling.

“I haven’t participated in a national TV wrestling program in 22 years. I would like to thank those who remembered me!!! I have never forgotten to do my best. The magic of wrestling still lives very much in my soul.

Gowen watched the action unfold from the audience as Ricochet stood up to him and chuckled. Ricochet stated that he was a Gowen fan before he ridiculed him, attacking security when he tried to intervene. Ricochet attempted to cut one of the security officers’ hair, which led him to enter the ring at Gowen. Gowen was attacked to some extent before Ricochet attacked his feet and stolen the prosthetic limbs like a war trophy. Ricochet’s attack on Diatribe and Gowen came after defeating Angelico in a singles match.

Previously wrestling with WWE, TNA wrestling and original ROH, Gowen continues to work on indie promotions in his last match last year. Gowen will be holding his ring-in-ring debut next week when he faces off against Ricochet in “Aew Dynamate: Beach Break” at AEW.
