Last week’s “AEW Collision” was ahead of Thursday night, which increased the overall average audience and key demographic ratings.

On May 8, 2025, the Collision version had an average viewership of 382,000. This is a 12% increase from the 341,000 viewers the previous week, according to Programming Insider. However, this number was 16% lower than the average 455,000 viewers over the past four weeks. The NBA playoff game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timber Wolves broke the viewer charts on Thursday night. An average of 4,537,000 viewers were tailored to match the match, with the Stanley Cup game between the Carolina Hurricane and the Washington capital ranked second with a viewer of 1,433,000.

The main demographic rating for “Clash” also grew, with a rating of 0.09 compared to the show’s May 3rd edition of 0.06. It represents growth from the previous week, but is less than the average of 0.12 over the 4-week period. According to “Wrestlenomics,” “Crossing” was ranked ninth in the night’s major demographic ratings on Cable.

The “Clash” took place at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Michigan, and aired live the day after “Aew Dynamate” took place at the same venue. The show featured a match between Ricochet and Angelico. The former attacked former WWE star Zach Gowen this week, later attacking. Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale updated their feud, but the main event featured a single match between Daniel Garcia and Dax Harwood.

This week’s “Crash” is a beach break special, returning to the usual Saturday time slot and being tapered in Chicago.
