Vince McMahon may have resigned from WWE in January 2024, but he has not separated from his controversy or allies. McMahon is facing serious legal troubles over allegations of fraud involving Janelle Grant and others, but longtime associate Teddy Long stands by his side.

In a recent episode of “Wrestling Time Machine” The podcast, Long has revealed that his loyalty to McMahon has not wavered despite increasing claims. “I’m going to stand by his side.” Long said. “I wouldn’t be there today if it wasn’t for Vince McMahon.”

McMahon officially left WWE after a grant lawsuit was filed and accused him of sex trafficking. The case is still suing in Connecticut, but McMahon is not sitting still. Sources say he is already planning his next move. Once the ongoing legal battle is resolved, they are launching film and television production companies.

Meanwhile, other legal issues in McMahon have intensified. WWE shareholders are requesting that they take over documents related to the 2023 merger with UFC’s parent company Endeavor. Shareholders argue that McMahon has chosen to force him back to WWE’s board of directors to ensure the merger, choosing to maintain control, choosing to make an effort against higher bidders, despite facing allegations of fraud.

Questions remain as McMahon plans a potential foray into Hollywood. Is he trying to rebuild his empire outside of wrestling, or is he simply trying to maintain control amidst an increase in pressure?
