The war between AEW and the WWE continues to be furious if they can call it, and did so last weekend when comments from AEW’s Will Osprey on WWE raised some eyebrows. Ospreay admitted in an interview with “The Daily Star” that he is not a fan of WWE’s style or presentations, saying that he and AEW provided the best wrestling in the world.
Not long after these comments occurred, Day Bragreka and Bishop Dyer discussed what Osprey had to say on “bust open radio.” And Dyer was all about Osprey’s comments, believing that the former AEW International champion told the truth without defeating anyone.
“I love the comments,” Dyer said. “He backs up his comments. He’s not filling anyone. He’s not filling the company. He’s even talking about Triple H. He doesn’t know him, despite thinking Triple H took a shot on him before. AEW pumps up more shows what WWE is doing in a week-long show than WWE is doing this because WWE is no longer doing live events.
“So I’m behind what he said. It makes me mad at Zero. It shouldn’t make anyone mad. He takes pride in his place. He said it last night in his promotion. And I think it’s a great guy to hold a flag and a plant in the center of the ring and say, “b**** sons.” ”
