Former AEW star Saraya revealed one storyline that she was pitched in her time in AEW.
In a recent episode of her “Roolbreakers with Saraya” YouTube show, she spoke about how Aew suggested he was in a love story with Aew’s daddy magic. Saraya explained that she didn’t feel it was appropriate because she had a boyfriend.
“Daddy’s magic. They wanted me to have a love storyline with him. I could go for the whole career without a love storyline. And I didn’t start. And since I had a boyfriend, I just said, ‘I can’t do that, I can’t do that.’ So, I refused anything else.
The former WWE star said no one ever pitched her to have a love storyline in her wrestling career. Saraya reveals that Daddy’s magic is a good guy and although he has no problem with him, he has no interest in love storylines or kissing someone on screen.
“I really came to me and said, ‘What do you think about this? Do you want to kiss someone today?” For example, I didn’t have it…and they said, ‘Can you kiss Daddy’s magic?’ And I love Daddy’s magic,” she added.
Saraya rebutted Ruby Soho in her run at AEW and was involved in Soho’s relationship with Cool Hand Ang, a tag team partner at Daddy Magic, but never directly involved in Daddy Magic.
