AEW's name undergoes cardiac surgery

The legendary AEW name Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts had heart surgery today (May 13th).

As his wife Cheryl revealed on social media, the WWE Hall of Fame had cardiac ablation surgery today.

Shelley;Roberts wrote on Instagram, writing this with a photo of her husband in the hospital.

Jake will be taking part in a heart ablation surgery this morning.

Although his legacy is most tied to WWE, Roberts has been signed by AEW for over five years and made his debut as Lance Archer manager in early 2020.

Roberts appeared sporadically alongside Archer over the years that followed before his partnership with the murderous Hawk Monster ended last year.

In the talent trade between Roberts and Don Charis, the Hall of Fame abandoned Archer’s management services and began to oust La Facion Ingobubble (Rush, Dralisti and Beast Maltos).
