Tozawa was ready to throw along with Rusev, but the collision seems to have to wait. On the May 12th episode of WWE Raw, Tokugawa approached Adam Pierce and called for a match against Rusev after last week’s heated conflict.
However, Pierce shot down the request, revealing that Tozawa has not been medically cleared to compete. The exact nature of Tozawa’s injuries remains unknown, but Pierce assures him that a match could still occur after he was given a green light.
Tozawa has been aiming for Rusev since the episode of Raw on May 5th. He tried to interfere after Rusev won the OTIS.
For now, Tozawa has to sit on the sidelines, but Rusev continues to insist on controlling the ring. Stay tuned for the latest information on Tozawa’s state and whether he will get a chance to revenge anytime soon.
