With WWE NXT continuing to succeed, fans may one day see Shawn Michaels leave development and mark the main roster.
There is no indication that Sean Michaels may soon be leaving his role in NXT, but with such a critical job, there must be a succession plan in place.
Below are seven names that could replace Shawn Michaels as NXT’s executive producer:
7. CM Punk
The first two months of the small number of AEW conflicts, creatively supervised by CM Punk, are still well-watched by many wrestling fans, and one day we may be able to see what the best in the world’s vision will apply to WWE.
Since returning to WWE, it has shown a prominent interest in supporting NXT’s talent, so it makes sense to see Punk take on a expanded role in the developmental system in the future.
Spending the entire adult life in the entertainment and professional wrestling industry, Punk definitely has a unique perspective on performance from both sides of the camera.
He has been doing upcoming Hollywood projects, including being featured as a vampire in the upcoming horror film Night Patrol, but one day fans were able to see punk at the helm of NXT as he closes his ring career.
