Speedball Mike Bailey praises former AEW title holder for champion promotion

Despite having no titles now, “Speedball” Mike Bailey praises his peers for continuing to lead all elite wrestling. In fact, Bailey and their respective peers – Swerve Strickland – recently teamed up in a stacked Trios match of “Aew Dynamate” that Bailey pre-previewed in Busted Open Radio. ”

“I think I’m a Swave, he’s not an AEW champion in literal terms, but he’s a very good defender of the company,” Bailey said of Strickland. “I think he exceeded expectations and performed at AEW at an incredible level every week, but I think he deserves particular praise for what he does for a company other than AEW.

Last year, Strickland held the AEW World Championships from April to August, and his reign ended at the hands of “American Dragon” Brian Danielson at AEW in London. Last month, Strickland won the opportunity to regain the title by challenging current title holder and Death Rider leader John Moxley of the AEW dynasty. Unfortunately for him, an unexpected return and attack from the younger Bucks made him unable to do so.

Over the next few weeks, Strickland coincided with the likes of Bailey, Mark Brisco and OPPS, with the aim of weakening the elite and death riders. Last week, Bailey, Brisco and Strickland took on the young Dollar and Ricochet.
