The main event of TripleH in WWE is now too standard

Triple h There are many qualities when it comes to being a booker. He has done a lot for this product since taking over creative after Vince McMahon’s retirement. Initially, Triple H was considered a favorite booker in the internet wrestling community. But over time, people began to realize that the booking philosophy of games was not perfect. Some of the fan favorites were sidelined in favor of other stars who weren’t as popular among fans. The Baby Face Champion struggled to maintain momentum. The tag team felt like an afterthought. These were just some of the issues with Triple H booking.

But he understands a lot right. For example, he can tell long-term stories in a compelling way. He reassociated stars like Lanite and Chelsea Green. But for now, Triple H bookings still have a major issue that has started to make fans even more irritated. That also happened at the latest premium live event, Backlash.

Triple H matches his booking pattern too much

Compared to Vince McMahon’s booking, it’s a dramatically different approach

  • Many triple H storylines are too long.
  • WWE has been teasing for months the breakup between Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
  • Vince McMahon often changed scripts and storylines.

One of the major criticisms surrounding Triple H bookings is that it is often predictable, long and boring. Predictability isn’t a big deal as long as the buildup is done properly, but in many cases things feel a little too slow and storylines tend to drag forever. Consider, for example, Austin’s theory and Grayson Waller. Waller is clearly not an alliance with theory, but they still have their stories as tag partners. The theory gets facial reactions from the fans, but if Triple H waits too long, the fans stop caring for the theory.

It’s not wrong to say that Triple H reservations follow the pattern. Unlike Vince McMahon, he regularly changed the script and deviated from the original story. It produced many contradictions and fans hated it. But in Triple H he keeps everything a little consistent in bookings, and this is where predictability becomes a problem.

Many WWE plays suffer from the same overbooking confusion

WWE backlash ended in a similar way to WrestleMania 41

  • Many recent PLs have had one common theme.
  • Fans talked more about these shenanigans, not the match itself.
  • For example, backlash showed multiple REF bump spots and interference from R-Truth.

You don’t even have to go too far into the past to notice this pattern. Take a look at the last three premium live events, for example. In the elimination chamber, John Cena won the match and became the number one contender for the indisputable world heavyweight championship. Shortly after that, Rock came out to get Cody’s answer. Then Cena turned her heels. To this day, no one knows why China needed the help of the rock. He had already won the Elimination Chamber despite little help from Seth Rollins. However, the rocks did not appear after the removal chamber. Instead, I got Travis Scott. This was the biggest frustration of fans at WrestleMania’s Night 2. Where was the rock? Why did Travis Scott interfere when he’s not even a wrestler?

And there’s rebound. Orton and Cena’s match was nothing special. It felt special as these two wrestlers were heading towards the last time they faced each other in 2019. Shenangans were likely to happen. One judge bump wasn’t enough, so WWE did two more. And we all came out in the ring behind the scenes for an RKO party. The focus wasn’t even on their matches. And as the match continued again, R-Truth suddenly appeared and caused interference. The match then ended as it did at Wrestle Mania. Cena used the bass and hit Orton on the head with the belt to win. Note that there is another pattern.

Triple H should properly book his heel champion

Heels rely too much on distraction to retain the title

  • John Cena held the WWE title for the same second time.
  • This has led many fans to joke about how Beltshot became his new finisher.
  • Triple H should allow his heels to win neatly from time to time.

WWE’s heel champions dominate enough to have a long title reign, but despite how strong they are portrayed on television, things change when the bell rings. Even the Roman rulers mostly needed help from others to hold his belt. It feels boring and now I feel bored. Most pres that Heel World Champion wins will turn into overbooked confusion with referee bumps and interference to protect Babyface Wrestler. This has become a new pattern where world title matches cannot end without multiple shenanigans.

Cena has already won two main event matches with his low blow and a title shot to Face Combo. Many fans have already complained about the finisher being unable to finish his match, but if this happens again, it becomes a problem as if it interferes in the Reigns match. John Cena’s match will be predictable and boring. Before this happens, Triple H needs to switch things up and modify this booking pattern.
