“American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes has been absent from WWE TV since losing the indisputable WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 in April. While away from WWE, he has not yet commented on his HIA status.
Fans are eagerly waiting for his return to deal with his WrestleMania outcome. In a recent Q&A, Wrestlevotes provided an update on Rhodes’ status for the June 7 event in Los Angeles, noting that Rhodes is still scheduled for money for the Los Angeles bank show.
It’s worth noting that Rhodes is being promoted locally for the SmackDown event on May 16th, but WWE has not officially confirmed these appearances in programming.
He was previously removed from other advertised Smackdown events during the current hiatus, and money in the bank’s time frame is still the most specific sign for his return.
