Dominique Mysterio says CM Punk has gotten the main event for WrestleMania.
The Straight Edge Star reached the main event for the first time in his career at Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. He confronted Seth Rollins and Rome’s reign in a triple threat match centered on Paul Heyman’s loyalty. Punk lost the match after Heyman turned him on, but that was still a dream for anyone from Chicago.
The young wrestling veteran constantly joking with commercial punk on social media was asked in an interview on a casual conversation podcast about his hatred towards the former world champion. Dominic Mysterio explained that he dislikes punk because he looks like Eddie Munster:
“I think we both hate each other, in the same way, because I hate commercial punk. I don’t know what that’s about that guy. I don’t know if I just want to kick him with a fucking face because he looks like Eddie Munster.
Or the fact that everyone is like, “He finally did it, he finally got his WrestleMania main event.” Good for you, like an old man. 60, did it take 45 years to achieve your one goal? Goddam man, that’s time. ”

Dominic Mysterio also described himself before claiming that he was the best in the world after explaining how CM Punk won the main event for WrestleMania after all these years.
“That’s what they say about babies. When they have tantrums, you give them what they want and they close the fuck.
There’s a reason he wasn’t in the main event. You call yourself the best in the world. I don’t need to call myself the best in the world. People know I’m better than the best. I don’t need to call the best self in the world at 70. I don’t need to go out there and do it for myself. People do it for me. you have [John] China is talking about me and JBL. You have these legends talking about me, AJ style. I don’t need to do it myself.
People say it for me so there’s no need to say these things about me. My work speaks for itself. However, here we will go with the commercial punk. I can continue this rant forever, but I’m not going to go. I need to stop myself. ”
