From stars arriving at the company to massive returns, the AEW roster was adjusted in the first quarter of 2025.

The free agency market is more robust than ever, with some alliances formed and some talent on the way back, so things seem constantly changing with promotions as the year progresses.

Here are seven potential changes to the AEW roster:

7. Cedric Alexander makes his debut and joins the Heart Syndicate

WWE Hurt Business Faction is now known as Heart Syndicate in AEW

After being released from WWE in February, many fans believed that Cedric Alexander would proceed to all elite wrestling.

Based on his relationship with MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, Alexander appears to be destined to join the Heart Syndicate.

With the ongoing storyline where MJF is about to join the group, I feel that could happen when another star comes along to join the AEW World Tag Team Champion.

Given that he recently became a free agent after the end of the WWE non-competitive clause, it feels like the ideal time for Cedric to make his AEW debut.
