The May 13th edition of WWE NXT saw a heel turn. This is a turn inspired in part by recent talent releases that have hit both NXT and the main roster. In the behind the scenes segment, Taum Paxley gets distraught and destroys the dollhouse he previously loved when he approaches Thea Hail and Karmen Petrovic. Paxley spoke about the people closest to her constantly leaving her. This nodded to the recent release that Shotzi and Gigi Dolin were cut from the company.
Paxley appears to be jealous of the hail of friendship and Petrovik’s share, which all set up a match between Paxley and Hale. Heil gets a disqualified victory as Paxley used his thumb on his eyes when he saw him in Hale’s submission. And after the match, Paxley continued to claw Sheer Hale’s face. The referee tried to stop Tatum, but she continued to attack the inspiration, solidifying the turn of her heels.
The release is rarely a good thing, but it led to the development of major character for Tatum Paxley. After this heel has rotated, you need to check if the WWE can maintain momentum.
