It is the first time Shirakawa has wrestled in AEW since Shirakawa left his previous promotional stardom and signed permanently with AEW. Shirakawa said goodbye to the Japanese promotion last month, and a report earlier this week confirmed that she will be appearing on TV soon. The Japanese star wrestled last in AEW when she faced it in December. Shirakawa and the storm have history, and at last year’s Forbidden Door, the two competed against each other, the latter successfully defending her world title.
Meanwhile, AZM has achieved an impressive victory over Mercedes Mohn with NJPW’s Resurgence Pay-Per-View. The 22-year-old wrestled in AEW only once in his short career that appeared in “Collision” last year.
Aside from the four-way match, this week’s “Dynamite Beach Break” will also feature a steel cage match between AEW world champions John Moxley and Samoa Joe, with Adam Page and Will Osprey facing the Don Carris family’s Conor Shu Alekita and Joshu Alexander.
