Nigel McGuinness recently stuck his nose in Daniel Garcia’s business, accidentally sacrificing a recent match against Dax Harwood to the former AEW TNT champion. McGuinness did his best to apologise to Wayward Wrestler in “Aew Dynamate,” but that moment was interrupted by the Modicum of Chicanery.
FTR advocate Stokely Hathaway crashed Garcia with an apology from McGuinness on Wednesday, promising that neither Harwood nor Cash Wheeler were in the building. Hathaway challenged McGuinness and Garcia to put their problems aside from each other and play a match on “Dynamate” next week. After the challenge was accepted, Wheeler and Harwood proved that Hathaway’s promise was false and attacked McGuinness and Garcia.
The match marks McGuinness’s first year as the former ROH World Champion has not wrestled since the December match against ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty. McGuinness’s AEW era was like a miracle. Because former Roh Pure Champion couldn’t compete for many years before returning to AEW at Wembley Stadium in 2024.
