Tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Beach break from Chicago led to a major power shift as MJF was eventually accepted into the Heart Syndicate. After trying to get approval in a few weeks, “The Salt of Earth” coincides with MVPs, Bobby Rushley and Shelton Benjamin.
Early in the evening, after The Hurt Syndicate (Lashley & Benjamin) decisively won the AEW World Tag Team Eliminator against the top flight, the MVP instructed the MJF, who was interviewed behind the scenes, to join the ring. Following the confusing multi-team promotion segment, the MVP summoned MJF. Hesitant at first, MJF was eventually escorted from the go position, making him seem nervous.
In the ring, the MVP told MJF he was “calculating day” and “you asked for this.” In a dramatic moment, all members of the injured syndicate, including the initially passive Lashley, gave MJF a thumbs up and showed acceptance into the group.
MJF celebrated with his new faction, chanting the Chicago crowd “We hurt people!” The MVP then announced that MJF will be officially introduced to Heart Syndicate at AEW Dynamite next week, solidifying this formidable new alliance.
